Matthew Asti is a pianist and vocalist in the Lehigh Valley. His studies of YogaVoice® and Primal Voice® have helped shape himself and his students into versatile musicians capable of powerful vocal technique and positive musical expression.
As an undergraduate Matthew attended a conservatory in the United Kingdom that broadened his knowledge of music through studies of jazz, composition, and community outreach culminating in his “Freedom Through Singing” project which brought free music classes to mental health patients in West Yorkshire.
Matthew currently teaches voice at The Pennsylvania Youth Theatre and serves as musical director for the award winning Philadelphia Funk Authority which performs at concert venues and corporate functions across the tri state area. Matthew holds a bachelor's degree in jazz from the Leeds Conservatoire, yoga and Yogavoice® teacher certifications, and is currently enrolled at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David for a master's degree in voice pedagogy.
